Shane had an issue with his naga under linux. Turned out he needed to enable this kernel option:

Device Drivers —> [*] USB support —> [*] Improved Transaction Translator scheduling

If you are having issues under Linux with a naga mouse, or maybe any fancy mouse, maybe double check you have this enabled.
